Three courageous women were honored Tuesday for advancing women’s rights in their respective countries. Yanar Mohammed from Iraq, Sapana Pradhan Malla from Nepal, and Dr. Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian from Palestine are working against religious, political, and cultural biases that inhibit gender equality in their societies.
